As we move into the fall, we are introducing Tab Circles as a way to connect with God and with one another, to participate in spiritual formation together, and to collectively engage in worship. One of the things we learned from the summer survey is that a lot of folks who are a part of a small group, Sunday school class, or some other smaller community within Tab have continued to feel connected and engaged, while many who are not part of a group like that feel more disconnected. Our goal is for Tab Circles to help people find places of belonging, support, and spiritual community while we can’t all gather in the building together.
What will this look like?
- A weekly gathering from September through the end of 2020 with a small group (some in a back yard, some in a space at the church, some virtually or a hybrid) to engage with different materials related to worship that week.
- This is designed for flexibility. There will be several suggested conversations, readings, practices, etc. each week, and your group is encouraged to participate in the way that fits best for you.
- Existing small groups, Sunday school classes, etc. have been invited to consider whether they would like to use this Tab Circles format this fall. Leaders have been asked to communicate with their groups about making this decision.

Tab Circles Sign Up
A host or coordinator will welcome the group into their back yard, a space in the church building, or a video call, and facilitate discussion. A Care Coordinator will be responsible for staying in touch with group members and relaying care concerns to TBC staff.
If you would like to join or host a Tab Circle that will meet in person, your address will help us put groups together with households that are relatively close together.
